Ann Dugas and K-9 Partners Sonny, Tanner, Olivia and Cooper
Ann's background includes over ten years with the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab as an evidence technician. She has served as a volunteer and reserve for multiple Livingston Parish law enforcement agencies and Livingston Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Ann has been involved in Search and Rescue since 1995 She has responded to searches in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Virginia, and Texas. She has assisted local, state, and federal agencies in missing persons, lost hunters, homicides, cold cases and article search for murder weapons. She is part of a group that has completed a five year study using canines for prehistoric human remains detection, under direction of anthropologist and archeologist John Conway and John Sullivan. Ann has worked with LaSAR for over ten years and joined the team in 2007.
